Wiebke and the camera are a match made in heaven. This selfproclaimed "urban gipsy” began her career as a photographer working for television then applied for a music video production in 1999 – the rest is history. Well-known on the Berlin art scene, Wiebke’s work spans the realm of photography, art installations, long form projects, music videos and commercial spot directing. She won the ERMIS award in gold for her Volkswagen spot, her work has been nominated for the CLIP award for music videos and has been shown in several film festivals including: Achtung Berlin Film Festival, Hof International Film Festival, Bradford Film Festival in Great Britain, International Film Festival of Creteil, France, Milano Film Festival, Cork Film Festival, Ireland and Cardiff Screen Festival in Wales, among others. Within her career she shot commercials for Coca Cola, Volkwagen, Renault, Mastercard, Visa, T-Mobile, Vodafone, The Guardian, Nivea, Activest, HSBC, Dresdner Bank, FCUK and Sprite to mention only a few. She lives together with her family in Berlin.
