After graduation I moved to Cologne to work as a cameraassistant.

Two years later I started to study film with the emphasis on Cinematography at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund. During this time my interest in staging grew stronger, so I started to gain experience as a director with several shorts. The cinematography scholastics highly influenced my visual language as a director.

After I accumulated extensive professional experience in well established companies, I shot my first musicclip in 2001.
Many music clips followed, particularly commercials and image films, within national and international projects. I believe in the power of pictures as they changed my life greatly.
